  • Pre-CNA:  February 14 to March 28, 2017 (3 days per week)
Designed to prepare English Language Learners for the Certified Nursing Assistant training.  This course covers basic nursing principles, study of medical terms including: body systems, ethics in health care, patient needs, infection control, and human development.  Training in teamwork, interpersonal skills, work ethic and attitude, time management, and conflict management included as well.
  • Pre-Manufacturing: April 11 to May 10, 2017
    (5 days per week)
This 81-hour course was developed to prepare New Americans, for whom English is a second language, for the Manufacturing skill training.Emphasis is on workplace vocabulary, safety, math, and 8 hours of Achieve Global curriculum which includes, critical thinking skills, teamwork, Interpersonal Skills, Work Ethic/Attitude, Time Management and Conflict Management.

  • Manufacturing Training:  December 5 to December 30, 2016  and May 15 to June 13, 2017
    (5 days per week)
Through this 81-hour class participants will learn the proper use and operation of basic hand and power tools used in the manufacturing industry. Classroom portion of the forklift training. Reading and measurement tools, which include: blueprint reading, use of calipers and micrometers. This training will prepare participants for valuable positions in the manufacturing industry.

This manufacturing training includes: 8 hours of Achieve Global leadership training. Forklift-Classroom Certification 4-hours, Power/Hand Tools & Safety 33 hours, Reading and Measurement Tools which includes Blueprint Reading using Calipers, Micrometer 30 hours.
